About
Dr. Hamed Komeylian, MD, FRCPC
Dr. Komeylian is a gastroenterology and internal medicine specialist. He is a University of Toronto alumnus. He completed his medical degree and postgraduate training in Internal Medicine at SUNY Buffalo, followed by a Gastroenterology fellowship at Dalhousie University, where he served as Chief Resident.
He previously practiced in rural Nova Scotia before relocating to Saint John, where he is currently working as a locum gastroenterologist at Saint John Regional Hospital. He also contributes as an Assistant Professor of Medicine at Dalhousie University.
Located in Saint John, New Brunswick, Dr. Komeylian provides care with a strong emphasis on empathy, balance, and overall wellness. He is committed to a holistic, patient-centered approach that considers both physical and emotional well-being. His interest in mindfulness and yoga supports his belief in the importance of balance in both personal and professional life.
